Though I do not have a subscription I would love to critique this anyways...
The way the scene is showcased by the darkness and the blurring of the edges is really grand, showing and concentrating the eye to the center and the idea of the photo.
I love the models expression, because its not one that you often see. She is blatantly looking straight into the camera, which helps connect the viewer to the photo. It brings you in, and you can imagine the story that lies hidden in those eyes.
I have only one thing i don't like, and it really is just a simple technicality. The chalk on the ground is a nice touch, but a little difficult to read. There fore its hard to decide whether the chalk is meant to mean something, or just there.
Hope you find this fair, this is really a brilliant photo :]
Thanks a lot for this wonderful comment ^^ It is the first critique i receive even though it isnt official ^^ Most people don't want to say anything unless they are just going to praise it I actually appreciate the fact that you mentioned the chalk bit confuses you This is part of a set actually and what happened is we failed in drawing (not enough chalk) and we were stuck with it on the ground so i sort of wanted to shoot in a way that implies there is something on the ground like we used to draw as children but also not show it But yes i would love to be able to have it visible ^^
